Music History Track for Music Majors
The music history track is designed for music majors who wish to pursue additional coursework in the field of music history/ethnomusicology. It is open to music majors meeting the appropriate prerequisites. The requirements include 9 units of music history courses beyond what is required in one’s music major, and at least 3 units of individualized research. Music majors must complete a minimum of 12 units, with a track grade point average of 2.0 to earn a track in music history.
Music History Track Requirements:
- 9 units of MHIS courses beyond those required in one’s music major.
- 3 units of individualized research in MHIS.
