Business Law Concentration Program

The demands and complexities of a global economy require a strong basis in business law. The new Business Law Concentration is for Pacific McGeorge students who want to pursue a general business law practice, or for those who want to pursue a specialized law practice in entertainment law, employment law, banking law, real estate law, or myriad other kinds of business law.

The Pacific McGeorge Business Law Concentration requires completion of the following courses. With the approval of the Director of the Business Law Concentration, courses not included on the electives list or the experiential learning list may be substituted. The Registrar’s Office must be informed of your intention to pursue the Business Law Concentration.

Requirement 1

Complete Business Associations course
Two of the other listed core courses

Requirement 2

Three courses from the electives list

Requirement 3

One course from the experiential learning list

To satisfy the requirements for the Business Law Concentration, students must complete Business Associations and two of the other listed core courses. In addition, students must complete three courses from the electives list and one course from the experiential learning list. With the approval of the Director of the Business Law Concentration, courses not on the electives list or the experiential learning list may be substituted. questions regarding the requirements should be directed to the Director of the Business Law Concentration. The Registrar’s Office must be informed of your intention to pursue the Business Law Concentration.
